🛠️ Job Overview
As a Welder Fabricator/Storeman, you will work within the factory and warehouse team fabricating products such as:
- Gates
- Posts
- Brackets
- Custom panels
The role also includes warehousing responsibilities including stock management, dispatch, loading, and receiving goods.
✅ Key Responsibilities
Your duties will include:
- MIG welding using CO₂ gas on galvanised pipe and RHS
- Fabricating gates, brackets, and custom fencing components
- Operating workshop machinery and fabrication equipment
- Managing warehouse stock and inwards goods
- Preparing and dispatching customer orders
- Maintaining a clean and safe workshop environment
- Loading and unloading trucks using a forklift
- Assisting with deliveries and transport tasks
- Installing lock hardware into fabricated gates
🎯 Skills & Requirements
To be successful in this role, applicants should have:
- Proven MIG welding experience
- Minimum 12 months’ fabrication experience
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability
- Reliable work ethic and ability to meet deadlines
- Full Class 1 manual driver licence
- Good communication skills and positive attitude
Preferred but Not Essential:
- Forklift licence
- Experience towing trailers
- Knowledge of load restraint and transport safety
