Salary & Employment Details

- Hours: 40 to 60 hours per week

Work Environment
This position takes place in an active poultry farm environment which may include:
- Layer poultry farming
- Poultry and egg production facilities
- Outdoor agricultural settings
Workers should be comfortable working around livestock and in farm conditions.
Job Responsibilities
Selected candidates will perform various daily farm operations, including:
- Feeding and tending poultry and other farm animals
- Operating and maintaining farm machinery and equipment
- Cleaning barns, stables, pens, and barnyards
- Monitoring livestock health and detecting disease issues
- Performing general farm duties
- Inspecting products to ensure quality and market readiness
- Managing barn conditions such as water lines, airflow, and temperature
- Operating egg gathering systems
Experience & Qualifications
Language
- English
Education
- No degree, certificate, or diploma required
Experience
- 7 months to less than 1 year of related experience
Equipment Experience
- Egg gathering systems (preferred)
Personal Suitability
