We are now looking for enthusiastic and hardworking individuals to join our growing farm team.
About the Role
As a Farm Hand / Stockperson, you will work in an outdoor hands-on role supporting the daily operations of our free-range pig farm. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys physical work, working with animals, and being part of a supportive and hardworking team. No prior pig farming experience is required, as full training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Operating tractors and towing farm equipment
- Conducting daily checks on machinery and equipment
- Assisting with livestock movements, sorting, and weighing
- Supporting feed and water checks, bedding, and general animal care
- Helping with fencing, weed spraying, and farm maintenance tasks
- Following workplace safety and biosecurity procedures
- Supporting the farm team with general daily operations
Skills and Experience Required
- Previous farm or livestock experience preferred but not essential
- Machinery or tractor operation skills are an advantage
- Physically fit and capable of repetitive manual tasks
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Reliable, punctual, and proactive attitude
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Must hold a current Australian driver’s licence
- Must have access to a vehicle for transportation
