Salary and Work Schedule

Education and Experience Requirements
Applicants must have a Registered Apprenticeship Certificate or equivalent experience in welding. The employer requires candidates with 2 to less than 3 years of experience in the welding field.
Candidates must also hold a valid Welder Trade Red Seal Certificate, which is highly respected across Canada and proves professional trade skills.
Main Job Responsibilities
The selected welder will perform several important duties, including:
- Interpret welding process specifications
- Operate manual and semi-automatic welding equipment
- Read blueprints and technical drawings
- Use flame-cutting and oxygen arc cutting equipment
- Operate hoisting and lifting equipment
- Maintain welding and soldering equipment
The position mainly focuses on structural construction welding. Experience with Flux Core Arc Welding (FCAW) is required.
Work Environment and Equipment
This role involves working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment where attention to detail is important. Workers must be physically fit and able to handle weights up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
