Glenbrook is seeking an experienced and hardworking Dairy Farm Hand to assist with daily dairy operations on a modern and well-maintained farm.
You’ll work in a renovated 15-aside double-up herringbone dairy supported by quality equipment and efficient systems. This role offers a mix of milking, herd care, machinery operation, and general farm duties.
This is a perfect opportunity for someone with dairy or livestock experience who enjoys outdoor work and wants long-term career growth in the agriculture industry.
🛠️ Key Responsibilities
As a Dairy Farm Hand, your duties will include:
- Milking cows in a herringbone dairy system
- Assisting with herd management and animal health
- Operating farm machinery and equipment
- Stock movement and feeding duties
- General farm maintenance and labour work
- Maintaining a clean and efficient dairy environment
- Supporting sustainable and efficient farming practices
🎯 Skills & Requirements
To be successful in this role, applicants should have:
- Experience in dairy farming or livestock operations preferred
- Machinery operation experience
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Good stock handling skills and attention to detail
- Current Australian driver’s licence (Class C minimum)
- Regular access to a vehicle
